Hertz stinks. They treated us terribly. We don’t trust them.
Dont recall which major rental conpany it was, but at LAX they told me my out of state insurance is invalidated by california law and that i have to buy their insurance. It was just 1 day, $12, so i said ok with the intent to look it up after since i just got off a flight and the line was long. Of course it was a scam… they never refunded me the money.
You said the tolls would come out to the same but you would rather do it separately, why? You’re a sales person yourself and you won’t help out another salesman ?
Avis/Budget Sacramento committed fraud when they charged me $70 for fuel when I had returned the car full. It was noted on my return receipt that the car was full when returned. Multiple calls to customer service led to a brick wall.
Hope $70 was worth losing a customer and making an enemy Avis!
