Im confused…one group say yes the other say no
Priceline totally f’d me. It was embarrassing as heck.
In addition to not booking hotels through Expedia, I would never ever ever book a car rental through Expedia either. Today I booked a car reservation with Expedia and with Fox car rental. When I got to the Fox counter they would not give me a car because I didn’t have $500 on my credit card to hold. I was originally told it was $150. Expedia would return my money to me. Never ever book with them
Priceline just ripped me off! I booked the room that was supposed to be pet friendly… They refused me at the hotel! And they took my money anyways! I disputed it with my credit card company… And my credit card company said the hotel provided proof that I book that room and stayed there! They absolutely lied! F*** Priceline
Only time I’ve ever been bumped due to overbooking was when I used a travel site. It doesn’t happen often, but it does happen, and it’s why I only book direct now.
