Thanks for this video.. I never buy from third parties’ sites, but only from the official hotels’ web sites. Thirds parties are more than often – unfortunately – fraudulent… It is from my own experience that I’ve learned, from booking hotels near me or across the ocean (I’m in Québec, Canada). Many countries have different rates depending of the day that you are staying in, and you have to ckeck these official hotels sites every single day way ahead of the booking dates to see prices go up and down. It is easy to get discounts from these official hotels’ web sites from suscribing to their membership (if they send you e-mails after you book with them, if you do not want these e-mails (offers, promotions, etc), you can always send them directly to your spam section. Important: Always check before booking if what you book can be fully or partly reimbursed in case you can not go, usually these prices will be a little more expensive than non refundable prices, but it is worth it (unless you have a travel insurance that will reimburse you in case of not showing up for a valid reason). (And of course – check everywhere for hotel reviews, to avoid bad surprises on arrivals and on staying). One might change decision on booking this hotel or that hotel tons of times before finally booking, and it is OK.

Why didn’t you pick just one hotel and get the prices from all the difference websites?🤔

  4. PLANNIN is awful! I like your videos and often use your recommendations. I assume your advertising this platform because you are one of the influencers that helps to generate this site! However…. regardless of any discounts they may offer if the site itself can’t be reviewed buy actual users than it is not worth using at all I do understand what you’re saying about periodic Travelers versus experienced traveler reviews. But my problem with this platform is that the platform itself is not able to be reviewed on Google reviews because it is not a physical business that has a physical interaction with its customers. That’s an interesting distinction when it comes to Google reviews. The only place you can leave a review for this type of business is on things like trustpilot in my opinion that doesn’t cut it because you specifically have to go looking on trustpilot it’s just sort of pops up on the search. These reviews are very helpful when searching Google for products of any kind. Specifically ones that are taking up a lot of your time and money. Your suggestions are always very helpful. Unfortunately your number two is a paid advertisement for a product that is not useful to actual Travelers. This video is a year old so you may already have stopped using this platform. You’ll see that customers do not appreciate it. It’s Shady for the very reason that you explained at the end. You get a kickback from it. While I’m happy that you’re getting supported because I think you have good information there are many influencers out there that do not and they are recommending this site as well for the same reasons you are you have enough travel experience to avoid these influencer traps. They’re not useful for your audience.
