Book Direct or with a 3rd Party like Expedia?
One of the big questions in travel is if you should buy your plane tickets or hotels direct from the provider or if you should use a third party like Expedia or Skyscanner. Well, you can find great deals on third party websites, but there may be issues if things go awry. That is why we typically buy direct from airlines or hotels for that piece of mind.

I always book direct! Unless it’s a “book with points” on the credit card (which is rare for me). And I always tell people to book direct and why. Although, I don’t think many people get it, and I still get questions about which agency I used to book my vacation. No agency, only direct. 95% of the time, the prices are the same across the board. I also noticed, a lot of times, hotels have better deals when booking direct (sometimes get good perks).
Booking (and maybe expedia) have their own user discount programs which can be as good as hotel/airline rewards program. Honestly these days you will never have a situation that your booking is lost in the process. I mostly use third party websites for booking and have booked probably more than 300 hotel and flights and never had an issue where my booking could not be found.

Which airline is the best from Ottawa Ontario to Memphis Tennessee? I’m confused. I heard Delta Airlines, but I’m not sure?
I have used Expedia in the past for booking hotel rooms, but I did have one bad experience where apparently my booking never went through and they didn’t have me in the hotel so I stopped using them after that
